What is a moto escort?
A professional motorcycle rider who accompanies cyclists or groups to open roundabouts, watch intersections and provide safety on long rides and gran fondos. They carry certified gear, mandatory liability insurance and group radios.
How much does a ride with a moto escort cost?
It depends on area and duration. In Spain typical rates start around €70-90 per hour with 3-5 hour minimums. Bicicla.co shows each pro's price before booking and only charges on confirmation.
How does payment work?
Payments are processed via Stripe. Bicicla.co keeps a commission per transaction (12% by default) and the rest goes to the pro via Stripe Connect. 48h cancellation policy applies.
Do I need bike insurance to book?
Not required to book, but we recommend liability insurance. There's a per-country insurance guide at /insurance with federations (FFC, RFEC, FCI, BDR, Belgian Cycling, USA Cycling…) and specialised insurers.
How do I claim my workshop on Bicicla?
If you run a bike workshop, find it at /workshops/claim, pay €1 verification via Stripe and our team unlocks editing of your listing in under 24h.
